Vacanceselect International AG is searching for an Account Manager Connectivity

The Account Manager Connectivity is working close together with the Interface and Connectivity team and responsible for the account management of some of the camping-/holidayparcs in appointed markets and for the integration of all (XML) interfaces between camping-parc (chains) and Vacanceselect International AG. You deal with camping-parc chains and IT providers, supports local teams and liaises with our IT department. Our IT partners provide camping-parc (chains) the technology to connect their internal systems to Vacanceselect. This enables the camping-parc (chains) to automate the stream of information from and to Vacanceselect. Within this role you will be based at Alkmaar (NL) and/or Geneva (CH) and work according to Kanban method within team France.


Our team has a rich commercial and operational expertise and is now looking for opportunities to utilize this expertise to the benefit of Vacanceselect. Your focus is to find opportunities in the business environment.
You make sure we can offer the best possible travel product to Vacanceselect International AG’s customers. This includes finding possibilities to speed up acquisition of campings & holiday parcs and assuring retrieval of the best pricing and availability.
You also build a strong relationship with product partners of Vacanceselect and key IT providers and make sure they operate in the best interest of all parties.


Build a close relationship with our existing key IT providers and (potential) product partners;
Reaching out to potentially interesting new IT providers. If needed, handle XML integrations of camping-parc chains and individual campings-parcs. Improving internal and external knowledge on interface implementations. Give XML support to the other teams and improving results of XML partners based on your analysis. Monitor business development needs and work closely with our internal Product Owners on new features. Closing the gap between XML and the teams. Guide the camping-parcs, chains and IT providers through the release of the interface.


Three years of experience in a relevant account management function;
Preferred experience within hospitality industry and relevant knowledge of French camping-parc market. Knowledge of and experience with OTA (Open Travel Alliance) specifications, XML based messaging and SQL a strong plus.
Ability to handle high-value stakeholders, getting things done mentality, relationship builder (internally and externally).
Pro-active, sense of responsibility and can work independently, strong analytical skills and great face-to-face, telephone and written communication skills. Prepared to travel regularly, negotiation skills, fluent French and English speaker and writer. Other languages are a strong plus.
