Offering some of the best views of the region, the Petit Ballon is one of the highest summits in the Vosges Mountain range. Campers can pack a picnic and pull on a pair of sturdy boots before scaling the mountain and enjoying stunning vistas from the peak.
Providing various landscapes and different activities, the lakes of the region are a great place to spend some time with your toe in the water. The best lakes for a day trip include Lac Blanc, Lac de Gérardmer and Lac de Longemer.
