Campsite Escale Saint Gilles

Escale Saint Gilles, a fantastic five star campsite has a breath- taking view of the Glénan archipelago, and is a great place in which to make unforgettable memories of your holidays in the Finistère department of Brittany.

The swimming complex at the resort extends across of 1000m2, with a partially covered and heated pool to satisfy the desires of the whole family. Children can whizz down the slide, play under the fountains or splash in the paddling pool, while adults relax in the hot tub, at the sauna or on one of the poolside loungers.

Do you enjoy diving through the waves? In the blink of an eye you can be on the beach at Pointe Saint-Gilles. Here you have an exceptional view of "La Mer Blanche" at Bénodet. Relax on your towel in the warm sand or build sandcastles along the waterline. It's great fun on this beautiful French beach!

After relaxing, swimming and sunbathing, perhaps it’s time for some activity. There is plenty to choose from at Escale Saint Gilles including a Kids Club for younger children as well as a Teen Club for older ones. Make friends, play and enjoy sports under the supervision of the enthusiastic entertainment team.

And of course, you can enjoy various activities with your family. There is a tennis court, volleyball court, soccer field and basketball court, as well as a Jeu de Boules field, pool table and table tennis table. There is even a games room and an outdoor playground for climbing and clambering children.

There are also plenty of things to do in the vicinity of the campground. Including a golf course and treetop adventure park. And due to the site’s location near the beach and the Odet River, there are also plenty of water sports activities. Stand on a Stand Up Paddle board, sit in the canoe or tear off on a banana behind a speedboat. Relax on a boat ride or on the water's edge with a fishing rod... the choice is yours!

After all those activities, of course, you’ll work up a hunger. There's plenty of choice for eating and shopping including a snack bar, creperie, pizzeria or takeaway restaurant for the easier meals. Of course, you can also take a seat on the terrace of the restaurant. Choose something tasty from the menu and enjoy the various evening shows as the sun begins to set.

The campground owes its 5 star rating to its wide range of facilities. There is a sandwich service for breakfast and mini supermarket for daily shopping. Shop at the kiosk and souvenir store or rent bikes or a barbecue at the reception. Everything is convenient for you to enjoy a comfortable, hassle free holiday.

The choice of accommodation is also extensive. We have seven different types of mobile homes. Choose one or two bathrooms and with or without air conditioning. The size of your family also helps when choosing accommodation. The most spacious mobile home sleeps up to 10.

Around Campsite Escale Saint Gilles

Located on the coast of Brittany, there are plenty of nice coastal towns to visit. You don't have to go far for fun activities either with Pandaventure Park just around the corner and some nice French towns a little further away.

Le Letty beach is less than a 10-minute walk from the campground and the slightly larger Bénodet Beach is a 15-minute walk. Around this beach are several nice kiosks, cafes and restaurants. So after a day in the sun, why not explore this lovely little town, Bénodet. Prefer a slightly larger town? Then visit Concarneau or Quimper.
