Campsite Le Villeu

Situated in the coastal commune of Lancieux in northern Brittany, Campsite Le Villeu welcomes you to enjoy family holidays close to the beautiful beaches of the Emerald Coast. With a convenient setting close to the port of Saint Malo, the resort is a vibrant and happy destination where you can savour relaxing stays in the Côtes-d'Armor department of France.

One of the best places to unwind onsite is at the swimming pool that is heated and covered, and comprises of 3 interconnected pools of various depths, so all members of the family can enjoy making a splash. You’ll find a selection of loungers around the pool as well as on the outside terrace around the complex when you want to bask in the sun.

Although there is plenty of opportunity to relax at the campsite, active holidaymakers will find plenty to keep them occupied during their stay at Le Villeu. The multi-use sports ground hosts games of football and basketball, and campers will have the chance to play table tennis and the traditional game of petanque. For children, there is a fun pony club and an outdoor playground. The campsite is very sociable, organizing sports tournaments for kids and hosting family-friendly evening entertainment that typically features live music and theme parties.

Facilities at the campsite include a well-stocked grocery store offering daily essentials and local produce. One of the best-loved services at the grocery store, available in July and August, is the bread depot, which allows you to enjoy freshly baked bread and pastries for breakfast. Another useful service available to guests who book a stay at Le Villeu is Wi-Fi throughout the site.

There are plenty of grassy areas and shade bearing trees in the site’s emplacements, creating a peaceful and private atmosphere where our accommodation options blend into the environment. Around Le Villeu Campsite

As you’ll be placed close to the coast, it’s a great idea to plan a day trip to the seaside while enjoying a camping holiday at Le Villeu. The closest stretch of sand to the campsite, located 700m away, is Briantais beach which features gold sand and emerald waters. You also have the option to visit Plage Saint-Sieuc, a picturesque beach that also offers windsurfing & kitesurfing.

If you have a car, it’s highly recommended that you spend a day in nearby Saint Malo, a vibrant port town with a gorgeous beach and several tourist attractions including the National Fort, Champs-Vauvert Cavalier castle, the House Quebec history museum, the Micro Zoo and Les Remparts de Saint-Malo.

Heading south into the heart of the region will take you to the traditional Breton town of Dinan, a charming destination with half-timbered houses and plenty to see and do. The top sightseeing spots in the town include Castillo de Dinan medieval keep, Saint-Sauveur Basilica, the Rue du Jerzual medieval street and Château de la Conninais.
