A peaceful and relaxing destination in the beautiful Pyrénées-Orientales department of Languedoc-Roussillon, Campsite Le Roussillon has a great range of facilities and enjoys a picturesque settings just 1.5km from the beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean Sea. An ideal destination for sunny family holidays near Saint-Cyprien in southern France, the campsite spread over three hectares with a backdrop of Canigou and the Albères mountain range.

The perfect complement to the region’s balmy weather, the swimming complex onsite features a water slide flowing into a heated main pool, a paddling area with splash features for little ones and a spacious sun terrace. Relax with a refreshing drink in one hand and a good book in the other, while the kid’s make a splash.

Catering to the whims and wishes of children aged 5-12 years old, the Kid’s Club (Jul/Aug) is a great place for young campers to make friends while enjoying activities such as games, creative workshops and much more. Active guests can enjoy a range of sports including French boules, football, basketball and ping pong.

For dining and shopping, you can visit the town of St. Cyprien for a great selection of restaurants, bakeries, cafes, bars and shops. You can also dine onsite at the bar/restaurant, as well as being able to pick up freshly baked bread from the bread depot service.

Around Le Roussillon Campsite

The tranquil harbour town of Saint Cyprien is a 25 minute walk or you can make use of the free daily train which runs from the campsite to Saint Cyprien. This picturesque seaside resort has an excellent selection of restaurants with all the facilities you'll need on your holiday. The larger resorts of Canet and Argelès-sur-Mer are just a short drive away. The campsite is 1.5 miles from a picturesque beach, easy reached by a leisurely bike ride or by utilising the free shuttle bus.

If it's adventure you're looking for then take a trip to Aqualand in St Cyprien (6 mins drive) when you can try the river twist and the Niagara slides - it’s a full day of fun! Further up the coast there is a Safari Park at Sigean, and for a longer excursion, visit the medieval fortress city of Carcassone.
