The resort is located between St Pierre d'Oléron and St Georges d'Oléron, both of which have a good selection of shops and restaurants. In St Pierre d'Oléron, holidaymakers can discover a couple of nice tourist attractions, namely the Island Museum of Oleron and the blossoming botanical gardens of Jardin Boutanques de la Boirie.
As the campsite is located on such an idyllic island, it’s easy to spend a day by the sea while on holiday at Domaine d’Oléron. The closest beach to the resort is Boyardville, a sweeping beach of bright yellow sand offering gorgeous views that stretch as far as Fort Boyard.
For a close look at Fort Boyard, a historic fort floating in the Pertuis d'Antioche straits between Île-d'Aix and the Île d'Oléron, campers should arrange a boat trip. One of the best ways to traverse through the entire island is on the 'Petit Train' tourist train, which departs from St Trojan les Bains, a short drive from site.
