Things to do when camping in Lake Garda
Whilst there is so much to do on our campsites, it’s recommended that holidaymakers get out and explore the local area. It is, after all, absolutely stunning.
The spa town of Sirmione on the south banks of the lake has many notable attractions including Scaligero Castle, Archaeological site of Grotte di Catullo and Aquaria Thermal SPA. Malcesine in the far reaching north of the lake features colourful medieval alleys marked by many lovely restaurants and cafes. Wine lovers should head to Bardolino and indulge in the Wine Trail there.
The enchanting city of Verona is easily accessed from campsites in the south of the lake, where captivated visitors can enjoy its beautiful architecture and well-preserved roman buildings. Be sure to check out the Piazza delle Erbe, Juliet's House, Verona Arena and the Scaliger Tombs.
