
4* Campsite Fabulous Village is an attractive campsite set between the city of Rome and the coast at Ostia in Lazio. This is an excellent location for a lively family holiday - with plenty of activities to keep everyone amused, as well as offering generously sized emplacements.
At the heart of the site is a wonderful pool complex with two swimming pools, one with a water slide, plus a separate children’s pool and Jacuzzi. The main lagoon style pool is where youngsters are likely to spend most of their time, while the secondary pool is ideal for adults who want to swim a few lengths or take a refreshing dip.
With football pitches, a mini golf course, ping-pong tables and tennis courts found onsite, active fans will love challenging family and newly found friends to a few sporting contests. The campsite also runs exciting group activities, ranging from sports tournaments and fitness classes to mini clubs for children and teenagers. In the evening, the resort puts on a riveting programme of entertainment that includes foam parties, live shows and music.
There are several places to eat at Fabulous Village, with the Central Bar proving to be a favourite for breakfast dining. The pool bar offers a lovely ambiance and good views for lunches with the family while the onsite restaurant serves up an impressive range of cuisine that’s ideally suited to dinners. A gelateria, takeaway and mini-market can also be found onsite.

The ancient city of Rome is easily accessed by public transport from the site, or by the campsite run organised excursions throughout the summer. Top attractions here include the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and all the cultural delights of the Vatican City.
Luna Park (8 miles) is Italy’s oldest theme park having opened in 1953 and consists of over 130 different attractions to keep the whole family amused. The Parco dei Mostri in Bomarzo (75 miles) is home to giant, grotesque stone sculptures - Italy’s very own 16th century theme park!
