Campsites on the Costa Blanca
The beautiful coast of the Costa Blanca...
The white coast ‘Costa Blanca’ was named after the former almond crop which grew there which produced lush pink and white coloured blossoms. These coasts in south eastern Spain have much more colour than just white; walk in the green hills, climb the silver rocks and relax on the golden beaches.
On the coast
The perfect beach holiday; the coastline of the Costa Blanca is characterised by long sandy beaches, interspersed with rugged cliffs and the occasional intimate bay. Within these bays are ideal places for snorkelling. In deeper water you can scuba dive in the Marine Reserve of Cabo de San Antonio. See some great underwater panoramic views here.
Mountains and elephants
A highlight is the Montgo; a mountain range in the shape of an elephant. Make sure you’re ready for the long walk up, but you'll be rewarded with stunning views - on a clear day you can even see Ibiza! Another giant is the Puig Campana, near Benidorm. This fishing village has grown into a complete resort. Make sure you visit the beautiful Alicante, full of Arabic influences, or the home of paella, Valencia.
