Generous amounts of sunshine pour over Campsite Castell Mar, a blissful resort on the shores of the Costa Brava in Catalonia. Conveniently perched by a beautiful sandy beach on the Bay of Roses in the Mediterranean Sea, this mid-sized family-friendly site is perfect for sunny seaside stays in Spain.
Located in the main recreational area of the campsite, the swimming complex features a main pool for competent swimmers and a paddling pool for little ones. The pools are surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with vantage points overlooking the nearby playground and restaurant. At the nearby Rubina Beach, campers can swim, paddle and sunbathe to their heart’s content.
Holidaymakers who like to stay active can enjoy range of sports including football, petanque, table tennis and volleyball, as well as working up a sweat in the outdoor fitness area. The swimming pool plays host to a few aquatic activities such as water polo and Aquagym. For children, a lively mini club organises a fun programme of group activities including talent shows, creative workshops, sports tournaments and ecological projects in the campsite’s allotment.
In the evening, campers can gather around the resort’s big screen to watch movies or any significant sporting tournaments running at the time. On the main stage, a vibrant and varied entertainment programme includes comedy shows, live music, flamenco dancing, magic shows and much more.
Dining options at the resort are excellent; enjoy regional cuisine such as paella at the Roncaire Resturant, delicious pizza and fast-food options from the Pizzeria/Takeaway and intimate dining at the inviting El Mirador Terrace Restaurant.
On site, the emplacements are well laid out, with well-tended hedges and trees offer privacy and welcome shade. Our accommodation options include modern mobile homes with a range of convenient facilities and well-equipped tents for a more authentic camping experience.
