The site is around 3 miles from the historic city of Rovinj, which you can reach by either bus from the campsite or by hiring bikes and cycling along the coastal cycle path. The city has a rich history, and its main centre is lovely to walk around - head down the small alleyways to discover pretty squares, churches and monuments. A must do in Rovinj is to climb the Tower of St Euphemi. It's the highest tower in Istria and offers fantastic views over the surrounding coastline, towns and natural parks.
Surrounding the whole area is the Golden Cape Forest Park, which has lots of trails and spots to enjoy a lovely picnic. The Brijuni Islands are worth a day trip, take a ferry from Fažana to visit the two islands open to the public.
