Camping on Lake Garda means enjoying the riches this area has to offer, excursions and day trips to visit towns and villages right on the lake but also inland. Surrounded by some of Italy's best wine-growing areas, it is also famous for its lemons, olive oil and freshwater fish, all of which are present in the local cuisine!

Things to do on a camping holiday at Lake Garda
If you plan to spend your camping holiday on Lake Garda, make sure you visit the beautiful and romantic city of Verona. Incredible operas are staged in the Arena of Verona, one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world.
Gardaland is the longest-running amusement park in Italy, located south of Lake Garda and close to many of our camp sites. The theme park is a combination of rides, music, and cartoon characters that live in the park and lend themselves to photography with the little ones.
Lake Garda could be considered a ‘bike-resort’. Hundreds of miles of well-marked trails suitable for all needs, among the steep peaks and at the lake's edge.
As if Lake Garda wasn't beautiful enough admired from its shores, don't miss the opportunity to admire it from the top of Monte Baldo. A 360-degree rotating cabin will take you to the summit for a breathtaking view!
The spa town of Sirmione lies on a peninsula at the southern end of Lake Garda. Besides mud baths and thermal water, it is famous for its moated castle and the Grotte di Catullo, a vast ruined Roman villa named after the poet Catullus.
