Making its home facing a gorgeous bay of the idyllic Istria coastline, Campsite Porto Sole is a wonderful destination for sunny seaside holidays in Croatia. Situated close to the town of Vrsar, the resort has an enviable location by the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea, ensuring families can enjoy sun-soaked stays by the beach.
With lovely views of the sea, the swimming pool complex at the campsite is a welcome place from which to enjoy the climate of the region. Featuring a main pool as well as a paddling pool with splash playground, the complex also boasts a spacious sun terrace.
The tennis court, football pitch and volleyball court found onsite ensures that active campers can indulge in their favourite sports while staying at Porto Sole. The site also arranges various excursions into the local area, with cycling tours being one of the most popular.
The charming coastal location of the campsite offers holidaymakers the chance to enjoy several seaside activities including water sports such as diving, sailing, canoeing, pedal boating or paddle boarding. More relaxing recreation includes chilling out on the picturesque pebble beaches or walking in the shade of tall pine trees that line the coast.
Amenities at the resort are very good and include a restaurant/pizzeria that dishes up typical Croatian food as well as pizza and pasta. There are a couple of bars at the campsite, namely the aperitif bar and the pool bar, along with a sociable café and mini market.

Around Porto Sole Campsite
On a stay at this fabulous Croatian campsite, it’s highly recommended to plan trips in and around the local area. In the scenic seaside town of nearby Vrsar, holidaymakers can wander around a pretty marina and quaint cobbled streets, as well as visiting attractions such as the church of Saint Martin.
The town is also a good starting point for day trips to some of Istria’s most popular places. Consider visiting the delightful destinations of Porec, Rovinj and Pula, or even jumping across the border into Slovenia to make a stop at Piran, Koper or Izola.
The location of the resort is also ideal for boat trips in the beautiful Lim Channel, or exciting adventures with the kids at Dinopark Funtana Amusement Park.
