Situated in the bucolic bliss of the Black Forest in Germany, Campsite Kinzigtal is an intimate destination with well-maintained green emplacements. The rural setting of the campsite, by a gently flowing stream, ensures holidaymakers can enjoy a serene stay in the lap of nature.
The camping is located next to a municipal pool that allows guests staying at Kinzigtal to swim there for free. The complex features an 850 m² swimming pool equipped with a diving board and water slide. Children will love the splash playground.
Aside from swimming at the pool, there are a few amusing activities for children to enjoy at the campsite including table tennis and clambering around the playground. Horse riding excursions and walking along nature trails are possible in the local area, along with tennis, mini golf, tree top adventure climbing and much more.
One of the best places to rub shoulders with fellow campers is the bar and restaurant, which is a lovely oak-beamed building. The food options at the restaurant are tasty, traditional and make good use of local produce. Other facilities at the campsite include a takeaway service, mini market and bar, while a good selection of shops and restaurants can be found in the local area.
Emerging gracefully from the grounds of the site, the emplacements that host our accommodation options are spacious, private and peacefully. From the comfort of our mobile homes, guests can enjoy a serene stay with the lulling sounds of nature all around.
The campsite occupies a gorgeous location in the heart of the Black Forest, so several kinds of outdoor activities are readily available. Visitors to the campsite can enjoy walking, cycling and road tripping though the charming countryside around the campsite.
It’s also worth exploring the quaint towns and villages of the region, one of which is Steinach that lies just a 15-min walk from the campsite.
Some of the best tourist attractions in the wider area around the campsite include Ehrenburg Palace in Coburg, the Saalfeld Fairy Grottoes Experience, the Oberweißbacher Bergbahn and Thuringian Forest Nature Park.
