As the camping has a grass football and futsal pitch, volleyball and basketball courts, outdoor gym and ping-pong tables, sports fans will feel right at home. Children will love swinging by the onsite playground as well as enrolling in the exciting Kid’s Club that hosts painting and pottery workshops, face painting and fancy dress play. Teenagers also have their own animation club that features graffiti workshops, sports tournaments and aquatic activities. Adults can stay in shape with brilliant instructor led fitness classes and the whole family can dance, laugh and sing along to a lively entertainment programme in the evening.

Dining facilities at Valldaro are excellent, with La Magnòlia Restaurant and L’Orangerie Restaurant both serving up delicious Mediterranean cuisine and offering a takeaway service. The resort also has a pair of well-stocked supermarkets and a snack bar that opens every afternoon in the summer months. A selection of other useful services includes bicycle hire, fridge rental and peddle kart hire.

The family friendly town of Playa d’Aro is within walking distance of the campsite and offers a long stretch of golden sandy beach as well as fabulous choice of restaurants and bars. Discover the charming old town that still preserves its medieval charm.

Aquadiver, a large water park with huge selection of twisting waterslides, is just 5 minutes by car and an exciting day out for all members of the family. When it all gets too much grab an inflatable ring and relax your way round the lazy river!

For a change of scenery, take a drive along the winding coast road to the fishing village of Tossa de Mar. Here you’ll find the Vila Vella enceinte – an ancient walled city and only fortified medieval town on the Catalonian coast. The coastal drive is a worthwhile tour itself, with the chance to observe why the Costa Brava is referred to as the 'rugged coast'.

Barcelona, Girona and the Pyrenees are all close enough for day trips.
