Wide sandy beaches

The Atlantic coast extends from the Vendée and the Costa Lisboa. Although every piece of coastline has its own character, they also have one thing in common, endless wide and fine white beaches. You can see the rock formations and the ocean crashing against them. There are high waves that will make the heart of many sailors beat faster. Along the coast there are shellfish for the taking. In France, the oysters are a specialty. Come and taste at the local market.

From France to Portugal

Resorts with low white houses, small islands off the coast, hilly hinterland with windmills, meadows and fields. That's the west coast of France at a glance. Deep in the south of Europe you will find the Costa Lisboa. The ocean is rougher but the waves are even more spectacular. It is the spot for surf pros and a great place to dive. However you should also visit the cities of Lisbon and Porto, which are set directly on the Atlantic coast.
