Island of Beauty...
Red granite rocks, white cliffs, towering mountains, vast beaches and a sea like nothing else you will ever have seen. With many castles and citadels dotted around the medieval towns, it is clear that Corsica lives up to its nickname ‘Ile de Beauté’.
From coast to colour
This sounds a little cliché, but when you get to Scandola you must visit the nature reserve. Truly breathtaking nature, rare birds flying over your head, the most unusual, diverse plants and you can discover the very colourful underwater world is very impressive. The coastline is characterized by high red cliffs and sandy beaches, so it’s not surprising that Unesco has placed this on the World Heritage List. This is Corsica at its best.
City of Napoleon
White water rafting, diving, cycling, mountain biking, hiking are all available if you fancy an active holiday. Culturally it's fantastic; the capital Ajaccio is where Emperor Napoleon and his brother Louis Napoleon were born. After Paris, it holds the largest art collection in France, expensive yachts in the harbour, fishing boats with their catch, a beautiful cathedral and chapels. Also visit Bonifacio, nestled high atop the white cliffs, what a magnificent view!
