With an enviable setting in the heart of Argelès-sur-Mer on the sunny shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Languedoc-Roussillon, 5-star Campsite Homair La Chapelle has a brilliant water park and numerous first-rate facilities.  5-star seafront campsite, shaded, wooded, close to beaches, renovated playground, quiet campsite, brand new Buddha bar.

2000m2 water park built in 2022, 2 slides, solarium, heated water play area, 4 pools: 1 lagoon (unheated), 1 heated paddling pool, 1 heated swimming pool, 1 heated indoor pool.  From its privileged location just 200m from the beach, you can savour a sun-drenched stay in the south of France.

Making the most of the region’s balmy climate, the swimming complex at the campsite is playfully designed and features a fantastic selection of aquatic amenities. Pull up a lounger on the spacious sun terrace and you can swim in the indoor pool and two outdoor heated pools. For children, there’s a selection of water slides including a dual track space race slide, as well as a fun splash playground.

A typical day at La Chapelle might find you enjoying the fabulous swimming pool complex in the morning, before enjoying a variety of sports in the afternoon, such as tennis, volleyball, basketball and football. Alternatively, you can participate in one of the campsite’s competitive petanque tournaments or a group Zumba class.

There are many things about the campsite that the kids will love, especially the outdoor playground. For youngsters aged 5-12 years old, there is a lively and inclusive Mini Club where enrollees can make friends with fellow campers while enjoying a whole host of activities. In the evening, the entertainment programme features family-friendly shows, concerts and karaoke.

Get your daily essentials from the grocery store, pick up light bites from the snack bar, grab a refreshing drink from the bar, and buy bread and pastries from the bakery. 

Tall trees bring welcome shade and respite from the sun, giving our emplacements a cooling atmosphere. The accommodation options include modern mobile homes with a range of convenient facilities.

Around Homair La Chapelle

A camping holiday at Homair La Chapelle rewards guests with the opportunity to discover the gorgeous landscapes of the Pyrenees-Orientales. And with the beach so close by, you can enjoy all the best aspects of a day out at the seaside… soft golden sand, the warm rays of the sun and the pristine waters of the Mediterranean Sea! The best beaches close to the campsite include Plage du Racou, Plage des Pins and the main beach of Argelès-sur-Mer, La Plage Centrale.

Argelès-sur-Mer has a handful of tourist attractions worth also visiting, such as the Catalan Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions and the Casa de l'Albera Museum. The seaside resort is a great place to holiday with kids as you’ll find child-friendly attractions such as Luna Park Theme Park, Aqualand Saint Cyprien Water Park and Argelès Adventure Park.

Not far from Homair La Chapelle on the way to neighbouring Spain, the enchanting coastal town of Collioure fascinates day trippers with its sightseeing spots like Fort Saint-Elme, Château Royal de Collioure Castle and a modern art museum.

If you have your transport, it’s possible to skip across the border to Spain and spend a day in the Figueres. Heading south will bring you to the lovely city of Perpignan.
