Located in the Basque Country, a few miles south of the world famous resort of Biarritz in Pyrenees-Atlantiques, 4* rated Campsite Oyam offers family holiday fun in the sun. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and close to Mount Larrun, this Nouvelle Aquitaine resort is ideal for campers who love the great outdoors.

The aqua complex at the campsite is superb and features two heated pools, a heated paddling pool for tots, selection of water slides, splash playground and a free-swimming area. The sun terrace is spacious enough to host over 100 deck chairs, and is noted for its tropical ambiance and leafy green foliage. Swimming lessons are available to novice swimmers and active campers can enjoy aquatic gym sessions throughout the day.

Daytime activities onsite cater to all holidaymakers with sports tournaments, mini clubs, BBQS, shows, fitness classes and treasure hunts always proving popular. In the evening, the campsite keeps the festivities up with a programme of entertainment that includes theme parties, live shows, music and much more.

Stay refreshed and nourished during your stay by visiting the aptly named Oyam Café, a restaurant serving burgers, pizza and more, whilst also acting as a takeaway service. Campers have the option to pre-order bread and fresh pastries for breakfast the following day.

The beautiful 12th century Basque town of Bidart has dazzling whitewashed buildings, fantastic beaches and rocky coves to explore.

For surfing enthusiasts, stylish Biarritz is a world famous haven and is home to a superb zoo. The seaside resort and fishing port of St Jean de Luz is also good for water sports and hosts many festivals during the summer months.

Both Bidart and Biarritz have great facilities on offer including bars and restaurants.
