In high season there is plenty of entertainment for children, teens and adults. Order sandwiches at the reception for the next day, and your breakfast with crackling fresh croissants and baguettes.

Enough to do in this region. 15 km from Ondres is Hossegor. Shopping, water sports, culture... There is so much to see in this charming seaside resort in the Landes! A trip to Bayonne, the capital of the French Basque Country, is not to be missed. With its gleaming facades, festival, citadel, cathedral, and museums, Bayonne has been declared a City of Art and History. In the city's narrow alleys, under the arches, taste the creations of famous chocolatiers! 

Les Landes and its pine forests offer 300 km of bike paths. The "Velodyssee" is the longest cycling route in Europe. Ondres is a pit stop par excellence with kilometers of bike paths in the middle of nature. Here you can cycle freely: go to Capbreton or Tarnos! Fancy a quieter ride? Head to the lakes of Turc and Laguibe and Lake Beyres.

Leave the dunes for a few hours to get lost in the Marais d'Orx nature reserve. Nature walks are 100% recommended. The kids will probably find the treetop adventure course at Robinson Park or the Labenne Zoo much more fun.
