Camping Echternach

Echternach is one of those regions where you immediately get the vacation feeling. Located in the east of Luxembourg, near the border with Belgium and Germany, here lies a surprisingly diverse region full of nature, culture and adventure. You will camp here in the green heart of what is also called Little Switzerland: a rough, rocky landscape with wooded hills, gorges and clear streams.

Whether you travel with young children, teenagers or both: Echternach is uncluttered, welcoming and bursting with possibilities. During the day, you hike along fairytale-like rock formations, and  at night, you can sit together in front of the tent, under a sky so clear you can almost touch the Milky Way.

And if you want some more action, you can easily reach the town of Echternach itself, the oldest in Luxembourg. With an old abbey, a historic square and a large recreational lak,e it is a nice mix of culture and relaxation. You will also find restaurants, ice cream parlors and cosy terraces where children are welcome.
