For families who enjoy hiking, the region is a paradise. Especially the Müllerthal Trail is highly recommended. For a little more action, you can bike along the river Sûre or take a day trip to Vianden, with a real castle on a hill. Also fun: the Schiessentümpel waterfall or a visit to the Prehistoric Museum in Echternach. Don't forget to spend a day relaxing at the recreational lake of Echternach.
