On warm days, it is great to relax at the pools of Collection Rivages Rives d'Arc. There are two heated pools: a large pool where you can go for a swim, and a smaller pool with a shallow section especially for young children. All around, sunbeds are ready under the trees for those who want to take a rest or enjoy the view of the surrounding greenery. For extra relaxation, a hot tub is available, where the hustle and bustle of the day disappears for just a moment. Within walking distance of your accommodation is the river Ardèche. Here you can swim in clear, natural water or just sit on the bank and follow the flow. Children playfully discover the water, while sports enthusiasts get ready for a canoe trip that starts right from the open-air hotel. Cooperation with a local kayak rental company makes it easy to arrange your equipment and set off safely. At the end of the day, make yourself comfortable on the deck chairs overlooking the river and prepare to see the sky in its most beautiful colours.

The Miniclub – the Maison des Enfants – is there especially for children aged 6 to 12. Here, it is not only about entertainment, but also about discovery and doing things themselves. Supervised by enthusiastic animators, children participate in varied activities: from creative afternoons with paint and clay to nature expeditions and simple sports tournaments. Every day, there is a new program, tailored to the weather and atmosphere. The Teens Club organises group games, hiking trips in the area and occasional joint activities by the pool. In the middle is a simple but cosy playground, where children have a good time even outside of clubs. Next to the playground is a petanque court where families or neighbours often play a game together during the day and in the evening. 'In the evening, slide in together at restaurant L’Avalon for regional dishes or snack leisurely at Le Rivière Club by the pool.

The Ardèche is one of those regions that keeps surprising you over and over again. Start with a walk to nearby Vallon-Pont-d’Arc, where medieval alleys, markets and cosy terraces await. Just outside the village, the famous Pont d’Arc towers over the river – a natural work of art best admired from the water. The impressive caves of Aven d’Orgnac and Grotte de la Madeleine are a short drive away and are a feast for curious children and their parents. And if you like to explore authentic villages, be sure to head for Vogüé, Balazuc or Labeaume – all charming places with old stone streets, viewpoints and small stores full of local treasures. Finally, let yourself be taken to the Cirque de Gens, where a walk over the cliffs rewards you with panoramas that will take your breath away.
