Camping Paradis Bellevue Erquy

As soon as the sun shows itself – and yes, even in Brittany it shines more often than you think – the swimming pool is theé place where everything happens. Camping Bellevue has a heated outdoor pool that can be covered, where the kids will endlessly dive, splash and play. There is a water slide and a separate paddling pool for the little ones. You immediately feel at ease here: everything is easily visible and clear, so it's easy to keep an eye on things.

The sea is less than 2 kilometers from the campsite! In less than a ten-minute drive you are on a golden beach, with high cliffs on your one side and the blue ocean on the other. The beach at Erquy is wide, clean and ideal for children – with gently sloping water, rocks to clamber on and enough space for a game of beachball. The kids can spend hours here searching for crabs in the rock pools. Pure summer memories!

The kids are entertained from ‘early in the morning until ‘late at night, and you finally échill out. There's a playground with climbing frames and slides where your toddler can burn off his energy, and for the bigger kids there are sports fields, table tennis tables and organized activities in high season.

’ch in the evening, the campground transforms into a cozy village square. Think mini disco for the little ones, quiz nights or karaoke for the daring, and the occasional show that even the adolescents stay in their seats for. The atmosphere is loose and convivial – just right.

Don't feel like cooking once (or twice...or three times)? No problem. There is a snack bar where you can go for fries, pizza and ice cream. And there is a small store with fresh bread in the morning. Tip: let the kids pick up the croissants – they'll feel great én you'll have an extra five minutes of peace.

Camping Bellevue is in a great place to explore Brittany. Within 30 minutes, you can drive to places that will make your mouth water. How about Cap Fréhell? There you stand atop cliffs overlooking the sea, and you can take beautiful walks – buggy-friendly it is, too.

A day at Dinan or Saint-Malo is also really worthwhile. Stroll through the medieval streets, eat a crêpe in a small caféet and enjoy the atmosphere that only Brittany has. Our kids especially loved the city walls of Saint-Malo – you can walk around them in no time overlooking the sea.

And when it rains? Then just head to the fun aquarium in Saint-Malo or the indoor pool in Lamballe. Even on less sunny days, there's more than enough to do.
