The campsite itself has a relaxed, natural atmosphere. Among the trees and greenery, children run to the playground, where they climb, slide and meet new vacation friends. During the summer months, an entertainment program runs at the Seasonova Portes en Ré campsite in Les Portes-en-Ré, with some 15 to 30 hours a week of activities for different ages. Crafts, games, small sports tournaments: this way, the day almost fills itself. In between, grab your bike. At the campsite, you can easily rent bikes for the whole family, which are often already waiting for you upon arrival. Then you can ride across the island, past salt pans, through the dunes and through the bird sanctuary. After an active day, settle down in the hammocks in the special relaxation area, where all you have to do is listen to the birds overhead. In the evening, join the bar at Camping Seasonova Portes en Ré for a pizza or a plank of local produce and a good glass of wine. And of course, you'll start each morning with crusty baguettes and croissants from the bread service, preferably with the smell of sea in the background.

As soon as you leave the campsite, you are in a special piece of nature. Seasonova Portes en Ré campsite is in the middle of the Lilleau des Niges bird reserve. From the campsite, you step directly onto the cycle paths through the salt marshes. Along the way, you will see migratory birds, egrets and maybe even a few rare species. Just a few minutes' bike ride away is the village of Les Portes-en-Ré, with a lively daily market in season. Here you can pick up fresh vegetables, cheese, fruit and something tasty to go with drinks. Salt lovers will enjoy the salt pans around Ars-en-Ré, where you can learn more about fleur de sel and other local products. A little further away awaits the Phare des Baleines, about 6 kilometres from Camping. The climb of 257 steps is rewarded with an impressive view of the island and the ocean. Also fun: a tour of coastal villages such as Saint-Martin-de-Ré, with its port, stores and terraces. Adventurous children have fun at Vertigo Parc climbing park or hop on a donkey at Anes en Culotte. Fancy a day on the water? Book a boat or catamaran trip to Île d'Aix or Île d'Oléron and admire the famous Fort Boyard on the way. Golf enthusiasts hit a ball on the 9-hole course at Les Portes, while tennis players can visit the club at the end of the island.
