Camping Club Les Ormes

Water lovers are in the right place here. Club Les Ormes has two swimming pools, of which ééone is covered én heated. Ideal if the weather is bad or if you want the little ones to splash around in peace. On sunny days, the roof slides open and turns the pool into a lovely outdoor area.

For the youngest children, there is a paddling pool and a fun water play table – guaranteed wet feet, happy faces and lots of splashing. Parents can relax on a lounger in the sun or get a drink at the bar while the kids have fun in the water.

No crowded slides or noisy water amusement parks here, but instead a nice, uncluttered place where you can really enjoy yourself together as a family. Children have space, but are never far away.

Here is no busy program full of obligations, but wél enough fun to do something new every day. In high season, there is a fun children's activity every week, and the rest of the time, children find each other naturally on the playing fields, by the pool or in the playground.

There is a sports field, a ping-pong table, a bocce ball court, and a well-equipped gym for those who want to keep moving. 

The restaurant is open daily and is within walking distance of all the facilities. While the kids are already getting their favourite pizza or children's menu, you can quietly order a glass of wine and enjoy a relaxing dinner on the terrace. Choose your own table, or join other families at the long table, the Table d'Hôtes. The playground is directly adjacent to the terrace –ideal, because while you are still enjoying yourself, they are having fun.

And what is perhaps the best part? You notice how easy contact is here. A chat by the pool, dining together, or evening wine with the neighbours. The atmosphere is loose and friendly. This is what vacations feel like.

Fancy a getaway? The surroundings are at least as nice as the campground itself. Here you are in the middle of the Lot-et-Garonne, among rolling hills, vineyards and medieval villages. Villeréal is a few minutes' drive away and is a picture-perfect place with its old half-timbered houses and lively Saturday morning market. Monflanquin and Pujols are also highly recommended. You walk here só into history.

Do you have adventurous children? Then pay a visit to Château de Bonaguil, an imposing castle with towers, secret staircases and thick walls where you can wander around. Or drive to the Parc en Ciel climbing park, where you can swing among the trees and take a refreshing dip in the lake at the end.

Somewhat further away (about an hour's drive) is Walygator Sud-Ouest – an amusement park with roller coasters, merry-go-rounds and water fun for young and old. A real bonus day for those who want to surprise the kids!"
