Swimwear on, bring flip-flops and go! Camping La Sagne has a heated swimming pool where you can splash around all season long. Thanks to the roofing, it doesn't matter whether the sun is shining or there's rain - you'll always enjoy nice warm water, a paddling pool for the little ones and a whirlpool for relaxing. Prefer swimming in nature? You can. The campsite is right on the Dordogne River. Walk to the pebble beach at the bottom of the campsite, spread out your towel and take a refreshing dip in the river. For a real adventure, step into the water with a canoe right from the campground. Paddle with your family past the impressive castles of Castelnaud and Beynac, or moor at La Roque-Gageac for a picnic on the sandbank. No hassle with transportation, you will simply be picked up at the end point and returned to the campsite. Whether you go canoeing, fishing, or just sit with your feet in the water, here you will experience the real outdoors.

Camping La Sagne feels like a small, friendly community. In high season, there is a welcome drink every Sunday - the chance to meet other families and make advance plans for the week. The kids? They'll love the playground, the Home Ball or the entertainment program with our mascot Dino. From craft hours to treasure hunts, there is something fun to do every morning for children aged 5 to 10. In the evening, the campsite comes alive with live music, karaoke or a fun bingo night. While you sip a local wine on the bar's terrace, the whole family feasts on freshly baked pizza or regional dishes in the family restaurant. Don't forget to order your breakfast in advance from the grocery store - fresh baguettes and croissants are waiting for you in the morning. Feeling a little active? Play a game of bocce, table tennis or join the aqua fitness in the pool. Prefer hiking? Several trails start from the campsite, including the 'Montfort loop', which leads you to beautiful viewpoints and villages.

The surroundings of Vitrac are beautiful. Explore medieval villages like Domme and La Roque-Gageac, where time seems to stand still. Sarlat-la-Canéda, with its lively market and atmospheric alleys, is only eight kilometres from the campground. Here you can wander for hours, taste local delicacies and find unique souvenirs. History lovers can indulge themselves at castles such as Castelnaud and Beynac. Or visit the prehistoric caves in the area for a glimpse into the distant past. Tip: drive to the lookout point at the cingle de Montfort for a breathtaking panorama of the valley.
