Camping Les Mediterranées Charlemagne

Who doesn't love to splash and splash? At Camping Charlemagne, water fun revolves around a fantastic pool complex suitable for all ages. The outdoor pool with slides is dé attraction for children. You will see them sliding down with a big smile over and over again. For the little ones, there is a special paddling pool with safe water where they can play. 

But that's not all! There is also an indoor wellness pool. Ideal for a fresh morning swim or if you want to get out of the sun for a while. While the kids are having fun, you can relax in the Jacuzzi or float in the quiet part of the pool. Fancy a day at the beach? From the campsite, you can be on the wide sandy beach of Marseillan-Plage within a few minutes' walk. Build sandcastles with the children, take a dip in the waves or plop down with a book – it's all possible here.

The best part is that as a guest of Charlemagne, you can use all the facilities of the two other campsites of Les Méditerranées, Nouvelle Floride and Beach Garden. Nouvelle Floride is opposite Charlemagne, you can walk right to it.

The kids won't be bored for a second here, and that means you can écht enjoy yourself too. During the day the entertainment team organizes the best activities: crafts, sports tournaments and mini-disco’s. For older children and teenagers there are sports fields, where they can expend their energy during a game of soccer or volleyball. ‘s evenings get fun. From live music to theme nights – there is always something to do for young and old.

And it doesn't just stop at entertainment. There are playgrounds for the little ones and a great water playground that will keep them busy for hours. Got hungry after all that playing and swimming? Settle down in the campsite restaurant. Here you can taste the flavours of the region, from crispy pizza to fresh seafood. Prefer to cook for yourself? No problem! Get everything you need at the campsite store, including fresh bread for a tasty breakfast.

Marseillan-Plage is the ideal base to discover the region and is located next to the campsite. Take a stroll through the cosy streets with numerous stores, ice cream parlours and terraces. The atmosphere here is wonderfully relaxed and summery. For a day full of action and adrenaline, you can go to Aqualand in Cap d’Agde, just a 20-minute drive away. Here the kids (and you secretly too) will experience the day of their lives on spectacular water slides.

For a touch of culture, the nearby town of Sète is highly recommended. This town is also called the "Veniceë of France" with charming canals and cosy seafood restaurants. Or visit the historic city of Béziers, where you can admire the beautiful cathedral and the famous locks of Fonserannes.

Fancy something special? Discover the nature reserve around the Etang de Thau, famous for its oyster farms. Here you can taste the freshest oysters while enjoying the view of the glistening water.
