Camping Les Tropiques

The swimming pool at Les Tropiques is, as the name suggests, located in a tropical setting. Camping Les Tropiques has a total of 5 pools, including 2 regular pools, 1 heated pool and 2 children's pools, which are supervised by trained lifeguards with special attention to children. So you can sit back in the deck chairs around the pool and enjoy the sun or the shade of the umbrella in peace - or try one of the big or small water slides and the water playground, laughter guaranteed! Once a week you can sign up for an introductory diving course. 

Camping Les Tropiques is just 400 metres from the Mediterranean Sea, with more than 8 km of beautiful sandy beaches surrounded by beautiful nature. From the campsite, you can walk along a dirt road to the most beautiful beach, Torreilles Plage, which has been awarded the recognized 'blue flag' as one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in France.

Camping Les Tropiques offers a wide range of sporting activities both at the campsite and in the surrounding area. Throughout high season, 3 animators are on hand to organize various tournaments, workshops and games. 

At the campsite, you can participate in soccer, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, basketball, petanque and much more. Or rent a bike. Let the little ones romp around in the playgrounds or the mini-club for children ages 6-12.  Adults can use the on-site gym for free. Camping Les Tropiques also offers an abundance of entertainment for all ages, including aqua gym, karaoke, bingo, cabaret, quizzes, contests and theme parties.

The restaurant offers a little bit of everything: fish, grilled meats, fresh vegetables, mussels, oysters and much more! Of course, there are also delicious desserts such as real Italian ice cream and pancakes - a paradise for the taste buds! The restaurant also offers a takeaway service if you want to eat in your camping accommodation on some evenings.

The pizzeria at Camping Les Tropiques serves all kinds of things: snacks, cold and hot sandwiches, burgers and fries. If you want to make the most of your afternoon at the beach, you can even have a pizza delivered to your camping accommodation when you get home.

At the bar, you can get various cold refreshments and hot drinks while you watch TV or sports tournaments on the flat screen. Put your feet up on the lovely terrace, or enjoy a game of billiards, table tennis or video games.

With a large and varied selection of products, the grocery store at Camping Les Tropiques is a real supermarket. Here you will find everything from flowers, spaghetti, coffee, sugar, care products, cleaning products, beverages, dairy products, paté, frozen foods and hardware. In a separate section, you'll find everything for the beach: swimwear, clothing, inflatable boats, postcards, stamps and newspapers. 

Start your day with fresh croissants, pastries and bread, or stop by the greengrocer, wine store, kiosk or local markets nearby. During high season you can pamper yourself at the on-site hairdresser and beauty salon, and even your car can be cleaned and polished at the new car wash. The campground also offers a laundromat with ironing facilities and Wi-Fi for a fee in some areas of the campsite/

If you have children with you and don't want to spend all your days at the campsite, Camping Les Tropiques is not far from several beautiful cities in southern France. You can visit the towns of Argeles (31 km), St Cyprien (21 km) and Perpignan (19 km), each offering cultural and modern attractions for young and old. The nearest town is St Laurent (5 km).

Or go to the characteristic zoo 'Resérve Africane de Sigean' where you can see hundreds of wild animals in their natural environment (45 km). Nearby you will also find many fun activities such as a climbing wall (0.5 km), horseback riding (4 km), golfing (15 km), fishing (15 km), windsurfing (4 km), canoeing (10 km) and go-karting (18 km).
