Camping La Riviera

At Camping La Riviera, water fun is running at full speed. The pool has a retractable roof, so rain or shine, you always swim comfortably. While you swim laps or relax in the Jacuzzi, the little ones splash around happily in the covered paddling pool. For those who love action, the four slides are a hit with kids of all ages. The eye-catcher? A winding tube slide more than 100 meters long that you whiz down in a tyre,  guaranteed screams of fun! Around the pool, there is plenty of space to relax with a book, an ice cream or just your feet in the water. Tharon Beach is just 1 kilometre from the campsite. Grab a towel, walk or bike there and enjoy the soft sand, the sea and endless sandcastle building.

At Camping La Riviera, there is always something going on. From April through September, the grounds are buzzing with activities. For the youngest adventurers (4-10 years) there is the kids club, where they can do crafts, treasure hunts and playfully learn about nature. New friends are made here in no time! Teens and parents take part in sports tournaments, quizzes, or sing their hearts out at karaoke. In the evening, join in a show, concert or dance and end the day with a snack from the snack bar: think pizza, hamburgers or mussels and fries. That's easy, quick én tasty. In between, play a game of table tennis, bocce or soccer together on the sports field. Taking it easy? Enjoy a drink in the bar while the kids have fun in the playground. And yes, you can even rent bikes to explore the area.

From Camping La Riviera, you are in the heart of the Loire-Atlantique. Start close to home with the beach of Tharon, where, in addition to swimming, you can also enjoy excellent fishing from the shore. A five-minute drive away is Pornic: a lively town with an attractive port, a medieval castle and ice cream parlours not to be missed. A little further away await Saint-Brevin-les-Pins and La Plaine-sur-Mer, ideal for a day at the beach, a nice walk or even beach sailing. In the mood for something special? Visit the salt marshes of Guérande or take a boat trip through the marshlands of Brière Natural Park. And if you are in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, of course you móét stop at the biscuiterie of Saint-Michel. Sample the famous galettes and take a bag to take home.
