Swimwear on, towel with you and straight into the lake. Directly from the campsite, you walk to the sandy beach and the clear water of Lake Vesoul. Children build dams and castles in the sand, jump into the water together and keep running back to the towel. Parents take a refreshing dip or watch from the shore. On warm days, much of camping life takes place here. Just 150 meters away is water park Ludolac, the place for spectacle in and around the water. The campground has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Children quickly find the playground, where they climb, slide and make friends. A little further away is a sports field where young and old can have fun with a ball or a spontaneous game of soccer. During the summer months the animation team provides extra fun with activities for different ages: crafts, games, small tournaments and sometimes an evening event where the whole family can join in. Get a savoury snack there during the day, and in the evening choose something from the small menu of simple meals. In the mornings, the smell of fresh bread starts early; get your baguette or croissant at the reception or store for a tasty start to the day. And thanks to the bicycle rental, you can easily grab a two-wheeler, from children's bikes to electric bikes, and ride into the green surroundings. From the campsite, you can walk to Lake Vaivre et Montoille in just a few steps. Around the lake is a path of about five kilometers, perfect for a stroller walk, a run or a leisurely bike ride. Along the way, you'll look out over the water, adjacent nature and birdlife. On the other side of the property is a fish sanctuary, so it feels extra quiet here and you will experience plenty of nature around you during your stay at the campsite. The town of Vesoul is a short distance away and invites you for an afternoon stroll. Don't forget to drive or hike to the top of La Motte hill; from here you'll have a sweeping view of the town, the lake and the surrounding countryside. In the historic centre, stroll past old facades, grab a terrace or stroll through the English garden. Adventurers look up when a hot air balloon takes off next to the campsite: a special sight and a spectacular way to admire the area from the air. There is plenty to discover outside of Vesoul, too. Take a trip to the castle of Oricourt, about thirty kilometers away. This well-preserved fortified castle lets children and parents alike dream of knights and times gone by. The area also lends itself to bike rides and walks, past small villages and through the green countryside of Haute-Saône.
