Homair Le Chêne Gris is our closest campsite to a famous theme park and is located in the verdant Seine-et-Marne area in Île-de-France. Enjoy the best facilities here including fantastic swimming pools, day trips to Paris and walks through the countryside of the Grand Morin Valley.

The on-site pool complex features a beautiful shallow-water pool, a water playground and a half-covered pool. Keep an eye on the kids from your lounger while enjoying a good book and a refreshing drink.

When the kids have had enough of splashing around in the water for a while, they can choose to join in the fun activities at the kids' club or explore the on-site playground. Families can challenge each other to a game of table tennis or bocce. It is also possible to go horseback riding, go-kart racing or river kayaking.

In the campsite's main building, you will find a cosy restaurant where you can eat delicious food. If you prefer to eat in your accommodation but don't feel like cooking, you can pick up a burger, pizza and/or fries. You can also find a bar, a mini and small supermarket, bakeries and many more stores in the nearby town of Coulommiers.

The campsite is situated on a hill where the pitches have a nice shady position in a beautiful setting. The accommodations at Le Chêne Gris campsite have excellent facilities. Stay in a modern mobile home, an equipped tent or on a spacious pitch with electricity.

 

The surroundings of Homair Le Chêne Gris

Although the campsite is located in a quiet and rural area, you can also choose to avoid the crowds while visiting the famous theme park. During your stay at Homair Le Chêne Gris, the whole family will enjoy a day at the amusement park, as the charcaters we all know and love can be found just 20 kilometres away by car. What's also nice is that you can buy the tickets already at the campsite! 

With outstanding attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, the Sacré-Coeur and the Notre-Dame, Paris is a must during your camping vacation in France. You can easily visit these amazing sights by train from the small station next to the campsite. Paris is 50 minutes by train, and the station is 1 minute (100m, you can go there on foot)

There is also a river nearby for all kinds of waterfront activities. And if you like being in nature, go exploring in the Grand Morin Valley, where you can hike beautifully.

A day with nothing to do? Then you'll probably do the kids a favour with a visit to the Lumigny Zoo, 13 km from the campsite.

To get to know French culture a little more, we recommend visiting the towns of Provins and Meuax or the villages in the Grand Morin Valley, such as Crécy-la-Chapelle and Villiers-sur-Morin.
