Homair Le Chêne Gris is our closest campsite to Europe’s largest and most magical theme park, situated in the lush countryside of Seine-et-Marne in Île-de-France. Here, you can enjoy top-notch facilities such as fantastic swimming pools, day trips to Paris and walks through the countryside of the Grand Morin valley.

The on-site swimming complex features a lovely shallow pool, a water playground and a semi-covered pool. Keep an eye on the kids from your sun lounger whilst enjoying a good book and a refreshing drink.

When the children have had their fill of splashing about in the water, they can choose to join in the fun activities at the kids’ club or explore the campsite’s playground. Families can challenge each other to a game of table tennis or boules. You can also go horse riding, go-karting or river kayaking.

In the campsite’s main building, you’ll find a cosy restaurant where you can enjoy delicious meals. If you’d rather eat in your accommodation but don’t feel like cooking, you can pick up a burger, pizza and/or chips. You can grab a nice drink at the Vibe bar. There is also a bar, a mini-market and small supermarket, bakeries and many more shops in the nearby town of Coulommiers.

The surroundings of Homair Le Chêne Gris

Although the campsite is located in a quiet and rural area, you can also choose to avoid the crowds while visiting the famous theme park. During your stay at Homair Le Chêne Gris, the whole family will enjoy a day at the amusement park, as the charcaters we all know and love can be found just 20 kilometres away by car. What's also nice is that you can buy the tickets already at the campsite! 

With outstanding attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, the Sacré-Coeur and the Notre-Dame, Paris is a must during your camping vacation in France. You can easily visit these amazing sights by train from the small station next to the campsite. Paris is 50 minutes by train, and the station is 1 minute (100m, you can go there on foot)

There is also a river nearby for all kinds of waterfront activities. And if you like being in nature, go exploring in the Grand Morin Valley, where you can hike beautifully.

A day with nothing to do? Then you'll probably do the kids a favour with a visit to the Lumigny Zoo, 13 km from the campsite.

To get to know French culture a little more, we recommend visiting the towns of Provins and Meuax or the villages in the Grand Morin Valley, such as Crécy-la-Chapelle and Villiers-sur-Morin.
