On sunny days, the pool is theé place where everything comes together. The heated outdoor pool is spacious and exudes tranquillity and fun at the same time. For young children, there is a separate playfully designed paddling pool with shallow water, where they can play and splash around safely. A lot of things to do for young and old at Camping Le Grand Paris. For children, there is a playground and a small animal enclosure, including goats – always a hit with the little ones. On the sports field, children can play soccer, basketball or play other games together. There are also 2 mini tennis courts and, of course, table tennis. Equipment can be borrowed.

At weekends, there is regularly a programme with live music or karaoke, so it remains fun on site even after dinner.

Those who prefer to relax can go to the terrace of the restaurant. Pizzas, burgers and other easy dishes are served there. For daily shopping, there is a mini-market at the campsite. Useful for fresh bread in the morning or something tasty for drinks.

The campsite's location is ideal for a trip to Paris. Within an hour, you are in the middle of the city and can discover famous sights such as the Eiffel Tower, the Notre-Dame and the Louvre. A boat trip on the Seine or a walk through Montmartre makes the day complete.

Not only is Paris within reach, but there are also a surprising number of nice trips to make in the immediate vicinity of Camping Le Grand Paris. For example, the wooded Forêt de l'Isle-Adam is only fifteen minutes away. Ideal for a hike or bike ride, with enough space for a picnic or a spontaneous game of hide-and-seek along the way.

Fancy a day of climbing, scrambling and adventure? 23 kilometres away is Sherwood Parc, a large outdoor park in the woods with treetop courses, zip lines, trampolines and even laser tag. Children as young as 3 can participate here, and this is also a top activity for teens.

A cultural excursion? In nearby Auvers-sur-Oise - about a 20-minute drive away - you'll literally step into a Vincent van Gogh painting. The artist lived here for his last months, and the village is full of places he painted. Think of the famous little church, his bedroom and the wheat field. Highly recommended for a day of culture in a quiet, atmospheric setting.

Also, L'Isle-Adam, a charming town on the Oise River, is fun to visit. With a cosy centre, a covered market, a sandy beach on the river and a park with rowboats, there is plenty to do here. It feels like a small vacation town, without mass tourism.
