Direct access to the lake makes swimming easy. There's also a large swimming pool for the whole family. The pool also has a shallow paddling pool so that the little ones can splash around in the water in complete safety. Here you can hike along peaks as high as 4,000 m and see impressive glaciers such as Glacier Blanc and Glacier de la Girose. Visit the Route Napoléon in the Hautes-Alpes. It was along this route that Napoleon travelled to Paris to reclaim the imperial title he had lost at the Battle of Leipzig. Don't miss the Muséoscope lake, the Vauban fortress and of course the town of Gap with the Cathédrale Notre-Dame-et-St-Arnoux and the Musée Départemental.
