Camping Lou Passavous

Nature lovers will love it here and enjoy the views of the diversified landscape with its overwhelming wildlife. The campsite is a great starting place for hikes. Every week, when the weather is good, there are free guided mountain hikes starting at the campsite. The campsite lies at a height of 1200 metres in the heart of the mountains it is called “Vallée de la Blanche“.
Only 300 metres away from the campsite there is a village called Le Vernet, which is part of the Département Alpes-de-Haute- Provence. Nearby there is a heated outdoor pool of the village it is very cheap to go swimming and lie on the sunbathing area (in public pools you must wear swimming trunks, underwear / boxers aren’t allowed).

In the sanitary facilities of Lou Passavous there is warm and cold water, an extra stall for handicapped people, a baby’s room and a washing machine. Also, there is a microwave stove and freezing equipment for your frigistors. There is even a small library on the campsite. Other than a children’s playground, Camping Passavous also offers a volleyball field, ping-pong tables and a boule alley. You will also find a neat little restaurant (pizzeria/bar) where you can eat what you wish à la carte or pick up some freshly made twist bread. All around the campsite there are excellent hiking options. During high season your children well have a great time with the animation program: handcrafting, ballgames, funny costume parties and pancake festivals are scheduled.
On the campground Lou Passavous you live in cozy safari tents by Tendi. This newly developed accommodation is furnished very nicely: They all offer a small but fully equipped kitchenette as well as good beds.
