Camping Verdon Les Grands Domaines

Put on your swimsuit and splash around! On hot days, the outdoor pool is the place to cool off. The little ones have fun in the separate children's pool, while you relax on a lounger or seek shade under the trees. And that's just the beginning. From the campsite, you can walk straight to the Verdon River. Hop in a canoe, paddle the calm waters or hire a pedalo and explore the Basses Gorges du Verdon at your own pace. The surrounding lakes of Artignosc and Montpezat are within easy reach and invite you to swim, play and enjoy the waterfront.

At the Verdon les Grands Domaines campsite, there is always something going on. Children aged 4 to 12 dive into adventure at the mini-club, while teenagers have their own space in the special teen club. Make new friends together, go on treasure hunts or stargaze during the nightly stargazing program. In the mood for something active? Live it up on the archery range, play a game of volleyball or throw your best pitch on the pétanque court. For mountain bike lovers, a challenging 10-kilometre trail is waiting for you, including a mini-fitness course. At the campsite, you will also find table tennis tables and a botanical trail, where you can learn about local flora while walking. Feeling hungry? Slide onto the terrace of the cosy restaurant La Trattoria di San Lorenzo, where Mediterranean dishes and a warm atmosphere welcome you. Prefer a quick snack? At the snack bar, get ice creams, crêpes and cold drinks for a tasty break. Also convenient: there is a small store for your daily groceries and fresh bread.

You are right here in the heart of Provence, on the edge of the spectacular nature reserve of the Gorges du Verdon. This is the ideal base for walks along steep cliffs, bike rides through the mountains or a peaceful boat ride on the turquoise waters of the river. The famous Blanc-Martel trail, the view from the Suech plateau or the trip to the Baume Bonne cave, each route is an adventure in itself. Feel like going out? The region is bursting with charming villages. Stroll through Moustiers-Sainte-Marie with its craft shops, sample local delicacies in Cotignac or visit the market in Aups. Historic sites like the Château d’Allemand-en-Provence and pilgrimage sites like Notre-Dame de Grâce bring the region's rich heritage to life. And best of all? Everything is less than 30 kilometres from the campsite.
