Camping Etang Blanc

Water lovers are in the right place here! Camping L'Étang Blanc is located right on the lake of the same name: a quiet, natural spot where you can safely go boating or fishing. Swimming in the lake is not allowed, but with a canoe, kayak or rowboat that you can rent here, you can easily explore the entire lake.

Don't feel like getting sand between your toes? Then the swimming pool with a separate children's pool at the campsite is ideal. Small but nice, and perfect for a cooling dip or some splashing with the little ones. No big slides or spectacle, but that's what makes it so charming. The atmosphere is friendly and orderly - you can let your kids run around here with peace of mind.

And if you want to feel the salty sea, the beach at Hossegor is just a 20-minute drive away. Wide sandy beaches, high waves and a surf atmosphere all around. Perfect for a day of building sandcastles or learning to surf.

This campsite is uncluttered, cosy and ideal for families who love simplicity, space and nature. There is playground equipment for the little ones, a sports field and plenty of space to run, climb or play a game of bocce with the neighbours.

In July and August, Camping L'Étang Blanc is buzzing with life: from crafts fun at the Kids Club (5-12 years) to sports tournaments, aquagym and fun themed evenings with karaoke, dancing and live music. Teens 13 and older can join the Club Ados for fun activities with their peers.

Also nice: there is a small bar where you can go for an ice cream or a drink, and in the morning you can get fresh bread. For larger groceries, you drive in a few minutes to the village of Seignosse, where there are also markets and cosy terraces. Simple, but just right.

The location is really a plus. Nearby you will find plenty of fun outings. A day trip to chic and lively Hossegor is a must, with its surf shops, boutiques and cozy eateries, this is a place where time stands still for a moment.

For action, you can rent bikes (also at the campsite) and explore the Landes' many bike paths. Cycle along the lake, through the forest and stop at a small, hidden beach. One of the highlights of your vacation!

Another must is a visit to the Courant d'Huchet nature reserve, about 20 km away. Here you can take a beautiful boat trip through the 'Amazon River of the Landes'. Ideal for curious kids and parents with a love of nature.

Looking for something more eventful? Then the cozy Dax is just half an hour away. There you will find markets, festivals and lots of local atmosphere.
