A well-shaded destination with a lively programme of activities and animation, as well as a wonderful water park, 4-star Homair Le Soleil des Landes is a privileged resort for a sunny outdoor escape in France. Pitch up on a stay and get set to explore the enchanting woodlands and gorgeous coastline of Landes, along with engaging in a variety of aquatic activities.

Upon arriving at the campsite, where you will receive a warm welcome, you can quickly get acquainted with your accommodation before pulling on your swimwear and heading to the pool complex. There’s something for each member of the family in the aquatic area including a heated and covered pool, paddling pool, splash playground and 2 water slides, one of which has three tracks for racing. All this is complemented by a spacious sun terrace and a wellness centre.

Le Soleil des Landes is a hive of activity where you can play a variety of sports such as football, basketball and volleyball, as well as table tennis tournaments and petanque competitions. Aquagym classes and stretching sessions will keep you fit, as will a little workout in the outdoor gym. Children can clamber around the outdoor playground play board games or watch TV in the games room when the sun becomes too hot.

The campsite has an array of clubs for children, with age-appropriate activities for little ones as young as 4 to teenagers aged 17. In high season, the site offers swimming lessons at an extra charge, and bike hire throughout the year so you can explore the local area on two wheels with the family. At night, the evening entertainment programme typically comprises live shows, traditional markets and dance parties.

The emplacements are located amidst woodland, with some shaded by tall trees. In this calming and private setting, the accommodation options ensure campers can enjoy a peaceful stay, no matter what type of lodging option they choose.

Around Homair Le Soleil des Landes

Although the location of Le Soleil des Landes is ideal for camping holidays with plenty of relaxing moments, you will find that there is so much to see and do in the nearby landscapes, and particularly by the Atlantic Ocean.

In nearby Lit-et-Mixe, you can visit some charming historical attractions such as the Notre Dame de Lit Church as well as strolling around the town’s 12th century square tower. The Landes Museum of Popular Traditions is an interesting place to learn about the customs of the region.

If you love to explore your holiday destination on two wheels, you will love saddling up for a cycling excursion in the local area around the town. There are several cycling trails that lead to a number of places such as Contis, Cap-de-l'Homy and Saint-Girons-Plage.

The beaches that decorate the coastline close to the campsite are gorgeous, and tend to be wide and stretch for as far as the eye can see. The waves of the Atlantic Ocean make it a particularly good spot for a variety of water sports. Surfing, of course, is very popular around the area.
