A camping holiday in Lit-et-Mixe, just south of Bordeaux, is the ideal mix of sun, swimming fun, and sports and games for the whole family. Beautiful Aquitaine, the bright green French region on the Atlantic Ocean, also offers plenty of interesting excursions.

Your dream campsite in Lit-et-Mixe has a swimming lake with a beach, a children's pool, and a partially covered outdoor pool including a spectacular slide. The beach at Cap-de-l'Homy is only 5 kilometres away, where the Bay of Biscay provides more water fun (and various water sports).

Holidaymakers of all ages have a great time: the little ones take part in treasure hunts, swing through the playground, or practice their skills in the mini-disco. Teens get to know each other in the teen club, take part in a sports tournament or chill around the pool table. Taking part in the various sports and games on offer with the whole family is also fun. Evening entertainment is also balanced. During this camping holiday, you will make use of the various campsite catering services (restaurant, snack bar) plus the mini-supermarket and bakery for your groceries and the kiosk for your daily newspaper.

In the pleasant village of Lit-et-Mixe you can experience French village life, and the many forests around the campsite invite you to take a tour by rented bike. Spot unusual flora and fauna. Learn about aviation history at Le Musee de l'ALAT et de l'Helicoptere and store in beautiful cities like Bayonne or Mont-de-Marsan. The world's most famous wine city of Bordeaux is a 1.5-hour drive away. Naturally, in summer there are many (family) festivals, brocant markets, fairs, and farmers' markets.

Due to fire restrictions, individual BBQs, & plancha grill plates are no longer permitted on the campsite. Guests are welcome to use the secure communal BBQ area instead.

Due to a storm on 12th February, the pool dome was damaged and must be dismantled for safety. The pool will not be covered in 2026 but will remain open and heated.
