Camping La Davière Plage

Here it's all about splashing fun! The heated swimming complex is the pride of the campground and perfect for young and old alike. There's a large pool for swimming laps, a paddling pool and a playful recreation pool for the little ones, én a jacuzzi for those who want to relax for a while. Surrounding the pool is a new sunbath with deck chairs: great for a siësta in the sun or a good book while the kids romp in the water.

And as if that weren't enough, the Atlantic coast is just a stone's throw away. From the campsite, you can walk or bike straight to the wide sandy beach of La Davière. Building sand castles, flying kites, looking for shells or just walking with your feet in the surf – this beach will soon become your second living room. Picnic blanket in the sand, children playing, and the sun slowly sinking into the sea before you return to your accommodation.

At La Davière Plage, you can't sit still for a day. The campground is bursting with sports and games: from table tennis and bocce to trampolines, beach volleyball, and a large multi-sports ground where you can play soccer, basketball and volleyball. Fancy a challenge? Take part in a tournament or sign up for one of the sports classes, such as outdoor pilates, long-shore sessions on the beach or the original “campathlon”.

For children, the campground is a true paradise. The Children's Club (July and August) organises cheerful activities every day with mascot Dino and an enthusiastic animation team. From treasure hunts, craft hours and quizzes to sports tournaments and nature workshops – everything is about fun and discovery. At the educational farm, children learn how to care for goats and sheep. Bet this will be the highlight of their vacation.

There is also plenty to do together as a family: a game of miniature golf, a game of beach volleyball or a bike ride through the woods (bikes are available for rent at the campsite).  The evening is time for fun at the bar or at the communal barbecues – a festive end to the day.

For daily shopping and more, there is a shop/bakery with fresh bread and pastries every morning. Fancy something sweet? Then get pizza, fries, chicken, mussels or oysters at the snack bar. At the Paillote bar, you can go for a drink,an  aperitif or a pleasant moment with other holidaymakers.

The location of La Davière Plage is simply fantastic. You camp between forest and dunes, a few minutes' walk from the sea, and at the same time have plenty of excursions at your fingertips.

The lively Saint-Jean-de-Monts is close by and buzzing in the summer. Here you will find a pleasant promenade, a long pier, restaurants with fresh fish and a market full of local products.

For a day of adventure, Île de Noirmoutier is a must. At low tide, you drive through the spectacular Passage du Gois, a road that disappears underwater at high tide, to this charming island with fishing ports and beautiful beaches. 

At 10 minutes from the campsite is Explora Parc: climbing, zipline, trampolines and VR! Bike or hike there through the state forest via the Vélodyssée, the long bicycle route along the Atlantic coast. Ideal for a short trip through woods and dunes or a sporty day with the whole family. Bicycles can be rented at the campsite.
