Camping Le Tropicana

The water world at Camping Le Tropicana invites you to swim, dive and slide. Take a refreshing dip in ééone of the heated outdoor pools or dry your hair after a ride almost 10 m high down the giant slides. The subtropical indoor pool is a nice getaway spot in less weather, while you enjoy soothing bubbles and high-pressure jets in the hot tubs. For the youngest, there is a colourful aqualudic area of over 130 m², with mini-slides, fountains, archways and water guns. And then there, just 800 meters from the campsite, is the wide sandy beach of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. At low tide, it creates plenty of space to fly kites, build sandcastles or paddle in the calm surf. Easily accessible on foot or by bike, the beach provides the perfect setting for a summer day with the whole family.

Campground Le Tropicana is bustling with opportunities for young and old alike. In the shadows of the pine forest, you can play ping-pong, petanque or jump on the trampolines. The new playground stimulates toddlers' imaginations with small slides, balance blocks and a shaded sandbox. For children aged 4 to 12, there is the fun kids club, where they are enthusiastically engaged in craft projects, scavenger hunts and sports games every day. Towards evening, the entertainment team organises creative workshops, sports competitions, night walks and even photo rallies. And what better way to end than with a theme night at the bar-restaurant, or swinging during a salsa class or disco at the show night? Karaoke enthusiasts and magicians provide magical evenings where the audience follows in admiration. There is a gym for adults. On the contrary, those who want to relax will find peace in the extensive wellness area. Relax your muscles in the sauna or hammam, or dream away in the warm water of the Jacuzzi. While the kids have fun, you recharge your batteries. Take a seat on the terrace, sample local dishes and easily order takeout. Easy: the game room is right next to the bar-restaurant. The bread depot has fresh baguettes ready every morning, and within 500 m, you'll find stores for daily groceries. From its opening, Camping Le Tropicana also entertains in the low season. The Mini Club runs during school vacations én during long weekends, and can be extended if there are enough children. During the day, weekly activities are scheduled, such as stretching, aquagym and muscle strengthening. 

We would like to inform you of an update regarding our entertainment programme for the coming season .From the opening of our campsites, entertainment will now be offered in low season at Camping Les Places Dorées and Camping Le Tropicana.

Mini Club :• It will be available during the April school holidays at Camping Le Tropicana; It will also be open during long weekends at both campsites;• And may be extended if necessary, depending on attendance and the number of children present.

Evening entertainment :• Some evening entertainment will also be offered in the early season; For the Ascension Day bank holiday weekend, you can already announce that we will be hosting evening entertainment every night during this long weekend .

Daytime :• Activities such as stretching, aquagym and muscle toning will be offered every week in the early season

Get out of the pine forest and explore the surrounding area. Walk or bike along winding paths, get to know nature and breathe in the fresh sea air. Saint-Jean-de-Monts itself bustles with conviviality, narrow streets and local markets where children marvel at colours and scents. Furthermore, visit the charming villages of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, or marvel at the phenomenon known as Passage du Gois. Open your horizons with a boat trip to Île d’Yeu or Île de Noirmoutier: long sandy beaches, winding alleys and buildings of character await you. Or dive into history and spectacle at Puy-du-Fou, with impressive shows a short trip away.
