Camping Landgoed 't Wildrijck

At Landgoed 't Wildrijck you will find an indoor pool that is the perfect activity on a rainy vacation day. There is a large pool and a separate children's pool with a small slide. In addition, it is only a 10-minute drive to Het Blauwe Meer, an idyllic swimming pool located in a wooded area near Hoogersmilde. The beautiful blue-green color of the lake is due to the mineral-rich sand at the bottom, which creates an exotic atmosphere. Here you will find a large sandy beach on the beach side, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing.

At Camping Landgoed 't Wildrijck, children are always the center of attention with a variety of fun activities that provide hours of entertainment. There are several playgrounds scattered throughout the vacation park and a large bouncy castle. Children can take a closer look at the animals in the cozy animal pen and even if the weather is not optimal, you don't have to worry because the campsite has an indoor play area. During the Dutch school vacations, vacationers up to age 8 can participate in entertainment programs, and although it's all in Dutch, they can have a lot of fun. Other facilities include a soccer field, beach volleyball, table tennis tables and two petanque courts. You can also rent bikes, go-karts or a trolley. No need to cook on vacation, either, as the campground has a restaurant with high ceilings where you can enjoy dinner or a drink outside on the cozy terrace. You can also order freshly baked bread from the campground's bread service. 

Landgoed Wildrijck is located near National Park Drentsche Aa, a protected nature reserve known for its winding roads, flowering heaths and rich wildlife. The area lends itself perfectly to hiking and cycling, where you can experience the breathtaking nature up close. For history buffs, Drenthe is famous for its "Hunebedden," Europe's oldest Stone Age tombs, which provide a fascinating insight into prehistory. For families, the area is full of fun experiences. Take the kids to Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen or visit Plopsa Indoor Coevorden, an amusement park full of magical adventures. There are also plenty of opportunities for activities such as horseback riding, climbing and canoeing, making the area a playground for all ages. The area also offers charming villages such as Zuidlaren and Assen, where you can experience local culture, visit markets and enjoy delicacies in cozy cafes.
