Camping Wedderbergen

A holiday at Camping Wedderbergen means endless water fun. The indoor pool is a hit with young and old, with a large slide, rapids and a bubble bench. In fine weather, the roof opens up and you can swim outside. For the little ones there is a separate paddling pool where they can splash around safely.

And then there is our pride and joy: the largest interactive water playground of the Netherlands! Multiple slides, fountains and water buckets provide plenty of action. There is also a play pond with a sandy beach, a favorite place for families to play quietly with water and sand.

Unique: the Water Valley

Our newest addition is the spectacular Water Valley, with a whopping 4,300 m² of natural water fun! With five play islands full of adventurous play equipment, this is a paradise for little adventurers. Here children can play to their heart's content – with or without getting wet. Think of a cable car, play castle, water pumps, rope bridges and much more!

Ideal: Indoor Play Paradise
Even if the weather is not so good, there is plenty to do, because our large indoor play paradise is a party in itself! Children can safely climb, slide, build and explore in a colourful environment. There is a separate toddler area for the little ones. Parents can relax and watch, ideal for families with children of all ages!

Lots to do at Camping Wedderbergen
There are playgrounds and playground equipment throughout the site. Next to the central building is a large sandpit, which is easy to see from the terrace. During all Dutch school holidays, our enthusiastic animation team organises a creative and sporty program for children from 4 to 14 years.

Please note, fishing enthusiasts: a number of pitches are located directly on the Westerwoldse Aa – ideal for casting a fishing rod!

Catering and mini-market
Start the day off right with fresh rolls from our mini-market. From 12 noon, you are welcome in our restaurant with a conservatory and a terrace. Here you can enjoy lunch dishes, snacks, pizzas and of course delicious soft ice cream. Please note that our catering facilities are cashless.

Fancy a day out? Then check out Dinopark Tenaxx, WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo in Emmen or the historic fortified town of Bourtange. Hikers can enjoy the Drentse Hondsrug and culture is also nearby, in Burcht Wedde or the monastery in Ter Apel. Germany is just a 10-minute drive away and Lower Saxony and the Emsland are also super fun for a day out.
