And for those who prefer not to swim in salt water? The campground has a sun terrace overlooking the sea, ideal for relaxing while the kids have fun on the waterfront. No big slides or crowded water park, just peace, space and that real free holiday feeling. Think scoop nets, air mattresses, waterfront games and long beach days ending with an ice cream on the terrace.

The strength of Village Torre Pozzelle is in its simplicity, but it rings true. Amidst centuries-old olive trees and under the canopy of tall pine trees, you will find a cosy, friendly campground where children can do as much as they want. There are several playgrounds, plenty of space to ride bikes or play soccer, and the animation team organises fun activities in high season – from crafts to evening shows in the central square. Teenagers? They chill out at night on the beach or meet on the sports field. Meanwhile, you enjoy a fresh pizza in the camp restaurant with a good glass of wine. The atmosphere is loose and warm, and the staff are friendly and always up for a chat. For daily shopping, by the way, you don't have to leave the campsite: there is a small supermarket with everything you need, from fresh bread rolls to local olive oil. A personal recommendation? Take your early morning coffee to the sea. While the kids are still sleeping, all you can hear are the waves and the birds – you don't have to do anything for a while. Pure luxury.

You really are in a golden spot here. Less than 10 kilometres from the campsite is Ostuni, also called the ‘White City’. Stroll through the winding streets, eat an ice cream on a cosy square or go on a scavenger hunt with the kids to find the most beautiful viewpoints. Just a bit different from the famous tourist places, and for that very reason, so charming. On an adventure with the whole family? Then visit Zoosafari Fasanolandia in Fasano (about 25 km). A zoo and amusement park in one – guaranteed fat fun for all ages! Prefer something active? Then go hiking or biking in the Torre Guaceto Natural Park, just a 20-minute drive from the campsite. And don't forget the local markets: colourful, lively and full of Italian delicacies to sample for yourself or take home as souvenirs.
