As soon as you walk into Camping Iscrixedda, you feel it right away: here, everything comes to a rest. The smell of pine needles, the soft shade of the trees and the salty sea air make this place a small oasis on the east coast of Sardinia. Right on the beach of Is Orrosas, just one kilometre from the charming village of Lotzorai, this campsite is hidden among the trees. Small, friendly and truly Italian is what makes this campsite so special. For families who want to relax, discover and enjoy themselves, this is a gem.

Water Fun at Camping Iscrixedda

Bring swimming gear with you? Those are going to come in handy here. Camping Iscrixedda is right by the sea, with a beautiful, wide sandy beach that you can walk right up from the campsite. No lugging coolers or inflatables around. The beach consists of a free zone for those who want to find their own spot, and a comfortably equipped area where you can reserve sun beds and umbrellas. Ideal if you come with young children and would like a little more convenience. Water shoes on and landing net in hand, because the water here is crystal clear and slopes slowly, perfect for playing, paddling or making a splash. And do you have teenagers who'd rather try a water sport? Nearby, you will find diving opportunities to explore Sardinia's underwater world. By the way, by evening the beach is even more beautiful. With a drink from the beach bar in your hand, watch the sun sink into the sea.

Amenities and entertainment at Camping Iscrixedda

The atmosphere is personal, warm and relaxed. The animation team knows exactly how to make children happy, from crafts to dancing on the beach; every day, there is something new. In the morning, you participate in aquarobics and in the evening is a big party at the mini disco. Everything here is about fun, without pressure or obligations. Sports enthusiasts can have fun on the soccer field or beach volleyball court, while the little ones have fun on the playground. There is always life on the campsite, but without it getting restless. And when you're ready for a quiet moment, just grab an ice cream at the bar or a cappuccino on the terrace overlooking the sea. For dinner, you don't have to leave the campsite for that either. The restaurant serves Sardinian classics with fresh ingredients from the island. Be sure to try the culurgiones, handmade pasta filled with potato and mint, or a freshly baked pizza from the wood-fired oven. Also convenient: there is a takeout option, so you can just eat on your own porch if you feel like it.

Close to Camping Iscrixedda

Although the campsite is a wonderful place to stay, it is a shame not to go exploring. In fact, there is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. Lotzorai itself is a friendly village with small stores and terraces where you can taste the real Sardinia. At the market you will find local delicacies such as pecorino cheese, olives and honey. A great place to fill your picnic basket! For a day of adventure, drive to the Su Marmuri caves in Ulassai, impressive underground halls where children will feast their eyes. Or take a boat trip along the spectacular bays of the Gulf of Orosei: rugged cliffs, hidden beaches and crystal clear waters make this trip unforgettable. For fun outside the water, there is the small water park in Bari Sardo (about 25 km), where children can slide, splash and have fun. Fancy some culture? Visit the medieval village of Baunei or stroll through the narrow streets of Tortolì. And everywhere you taste that relaxed atmosphere that makes Sardinië so unique.
