This is Portugal at its best! Spectaculair coastline, splendid beaches and beautiful cities and towns. The camping is located near the traditional fishing village of Nazaré in Leiria. You stay in a vast forest, part of a National Park. Nazaré is world famous as a breathtaking surf destination. Near the lighthouse the waves can be awesome. On the big wide sandy beach, Praia da Nazaré, the waves are normally lower. The pool on the camping is good for a swim. Excursions to the medieval town Óbidos or to Coimbra are a good possibility. Do not forget to visit the student city Fado here. And what do you think of a daytrip to Lissabon?
