Camping Yelloh! Colina do Sol

Colina do Sol is more than just a beautiful location; it is a place where your children can discover. There are children's clubs from 5 to 17 years old, and throughout the season. Crafts, sports, theatre, games and shows. Each age group has its own program.

Children find their place in a day and go out confidently with their new friends. The older ones participate in the soccer tournament, while the younger ones come home with crafts. All you have to do is occasionally ask for "a drink?"

Adults can indulge in aquagym, yoga, mini-golf, dance or water polo. Prefer to relax? At the bar with a terrace or in the restaurant with regional cuisine. Our favourite? A fresh fish stew with a good glass of Portuguese wine, while the kids make a last round in the pool.

The atmosphere is informal, pleasant and uncluttered. Everything at the campsite is carefully laid out: playground, sports fields, laundry, bike rental, library and a well-stocked camping store. Everything for a relaxing vacation, without having to leave the site.

Discovering Portugal here is easier than ever. From the campsite, you can cycle to the cliffs and bays of São Martinho or take a 15-minute drive to the lively surf town of Nazaré, where you can admire the highest waves in Europe.

For a day of culture, take the car to the medieval town of Óbidos, a fortified village full of whitewashed houses, colourful flowerpots and winding streets. A fairy tale enjoyed by young and old alike.

Or take a boat trip to Berlengas Island, a protected nature reserve full of birds, crystal-clear waters and cliffs. Hiking and biking trails abound here, too, for those seeking peace and quiet in nature.

Even Gralha beach, 500 metres from the campsite, is a wonderful place to stroll and breathe fresh air. (Note: bathing is not allowed here, but the views are breathtaking.)

As soon as the sun rises over the hills, life begins around the pool. And what a pool! The water park of no less than 2,000 m² has everything to make your kids and yourself sparkle.

Four slides (including an 11-meter-high Space Bowl!), a heated children's pool with play elements, a sun deck for hours of sunbathing and an indoor spa pool with Jacuzzi to relax in.

The older kids immediately launched themselves down the tallest slide, while the younger ones splashed peacefully in the kiddie pool.

And you? You enjoy a relaxing moment in the mét jacuzzi overlooking the hills. And all in one place.
