Camping Taïga Conil

On hot Spanish days, there is only ééone place everyone wants to be: the pool! Not too big, but just right for families. The kids make friends on day one and play in the water for hours. The separate paddling pool is ideal for the little ones. There, the little ones sit with a bucket and a broad smile, splashing under the small water spray.

Not in the mood for chlorine? Then the Atlantic Ocean awaits you! The beautiful beaches of Conil de la Frontera are less than a 10-minute drive away. Head to Playa de la Fontanilla, which is wide, clean and gently sloping. Perfect for sandcastles and long beach days. And always a nice breeze to keep you comfortable.

Camping Conil is uncluttered and friendly, with all the basic amenities at your fingertips. The bungalows and mobile homes are comfortable and scattered among the greenery, so you'll have plenty of privacy! The veranda quickly becomes the favourite spot for breakfast with a fresh baguette from the camp store.

For children, there is a fun playground, and during high season, the animation team provides cheerful entertainment. From crafts to scavenger hunts and mini-disco, they are probably 1still talking about it weeks later. Older children participate in sports tournaments or chill at the ping pong table.

And in the evening? Then slide into the campsite's cosy restaurant. Think tapas, paella and for the kids, just tasty fries with chicken. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food fresh, and the terrace spacious. Perfect for long evenings under the stars.

First, of course, there is Conil de la Frontera itself: a charming white village with narrow streets, quaint stores and delicious ice cream parlours. There is a market every Friday: colourful, lively and ideal for scoring souvenirs.

For a day of adventure, drive to Parque Natural de la Breña, where you can hike among cliffs, pine trees and viewpoints over the sea. Do a short trail with the kids, and even the adolescents will enjoy it.

Do you prefer something cultural? Then Cádiz, about a 40-minute drive away, is highly recommended. Old, characterful and full of Spanish atmosphere. Stroll along the harbour, visit the cathedral or take a boat ride.

And, of course, an afternoon of surfing or bodyboarding is not to be missed. Playa El Palmar is the spot for active families with slightly older kids.
