Camping Vall de Codó

This campsite is all about peace, nature and relaxation. You sleep in fully equipped safari tents with private terraces, fine beds and a beautiful view over the Catalan hills. Here you live outside, with the comfort of inside.

There is no animation, no program and no distractions. Instead: endless hiking trails (possibly guided), long conversations at sunset and the luxury of nothing for a while. The owners are present, friendly and happy to think with you, but also completely let you do your own thing.

For those who want, there is a restaurant, where you can eat excellent local specialities, by the way. And on a clear day, you can look at the evening into the Milky Way. A starry sky like out of a travel guide.

The location of Vall de Codó is perfect for those who love tranquillity and culture. Just a 20-minute drive away is Figueres, known for the world-famous Dalímuseum. Highly recommended even if you are not an art connoisseur. Combine your visit with a walk through the city or lunch on a sunny terrace.

The medieval town of Besalú is also within easy reach, with its iconic bridge and cosy streets. Or visit the charming Peralada, known for its castle, wine and summer concerts.

For hikers, this place is a paradise. The hills around Terrades invite endless treks through cork oak forests, along babbling brooks and along quiet paths. And do you want to take a trip to the sea? The Costa Brava, with beaches at Roses and L’Escala, is less than an hour's drive away.

Tip: In summer, visit one of the local village festivals or markets. Atmospheric and só authentic Catalan.
