Camping First Camp Röstånga

Fancy a refreshing dip? The campsite's large outdoor pool awaits you. Quietly swim laps in the 50-metre pool or get carried away on the slide. For the little ones, there is a separate children's pool, where they can safely splash, play and maybe even learn to swim. Around the pool are grassy areas for sunbathing or reading a book, while the kids have fun on the huge bouncy castle next to it. And if you prefer a natural setting, walk a few minutes to nearby Lake Oden for a quiet swim or a fishing rod in the water.

At this campsite, you won't have to be bored for a second. Between the end of June and the beginning of August, the place is buzzing with activities: kids' club, sports programmes, entertaining evening shows and even group hikes. The youngest vacationers make friends at Yessi Club, jump tired on the air cushion or conquer the playgrounds. Older children and parents have fun on the volleyball court, during a game of table tennis or on the mini-golf course. Or you can rent a go-kart or bike and explore the terrain on wheels. Those who still have energy left venture onto the 600-metre cross-country bike trail or train with the outdoor fitness. Prefer something a little quieter? Fishing in the area is popular, as is a game of bocce with your camping neighbours. And after an active day, sit down at the cosy bistro. Think pancakes with jam for the kids, a pizza to share or a cold beer on the terrace. Everything you need for a relaxing evening is at your fingertips here, including fresh bread and ice cream from the camp store.

From the campsite, you walk to Söderåsen National Park, one of Sweden's most beautiful natural areas. Deep ravines, babbling brooks and endless beech forests make this area perfect for hiking and biking. Do you like canoeing or horseback riding? That, too, is possible here. Or try trolley cycling over old railroad lines: an original way to explore the area. Looking for a fun day out with the whole family? Then visit Skånes Djurpark, a short drive away. Here you can admire moose, bears and other Scandinavian animals up close. The charming town of Röstånga itself also has plenty to offer: from cosy markets to idyllic spots for a picnic. And for the more active: mountain biking trails in Kåveröd or a day of paddling on the Rönne River, both within 15 kilometres of the campsite.
