Holiday Park Le Domaine des Grands Lacs

On arrival you can leave your car in the parking lot at the entrance, so you can fully enjoy the facilities of our car-free resort, including 2 heated pools: an outdoor pool with slide and paddling pool (closed in winter), and in the indoor pool you will also find a sauna and fitness room. You walk straight to the beach on Lake Biscarrosse. Sunbathing, surfing or canoeing: the choice is yours! The village of Parentis-en-Born, where the vacation park is located, is a few kilometers from Biscarrosse, a destination known for its wide range of water sports.  You can also go fishing or just stroll around the port of Parentis-en-Born, a 5-minute walk from Résidence Le Domaine des Grands Lacs.

You hardly have to leave the park to have a fun vacation. For example, there are 2 children's playgrounds and a multi-sports ground. Would you like to enjoy breakfast outside? Then come for breakfast at the breakfast buffet or order bread and pastries in advance at the reception. There is also a bar-restaurant: don't forget to reserve a spot for the moules-frites evenings organized in the summer. 

Stop in Mimizan, the most beautiful of all the villages in the Pays de Born. Fancy climbing to the top of the largest sand dune in the world for a stunning view of the surroundings? Then head to the dune du Pilat, it will take your breath away. The Marqueze Eco Museum in Sabres is 30 minutes away, in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne regional natural park and can only be reached by the little tourist train, whose carriages date back to the early 1900s! Also go to the Bay of Arcachon, and climb the lighthouse of cap Ferret. Or would you rather go cycling? Then you're in luck, because part of the Velodyssee cycling route runs from Biscarosse-Plage to Parentis-en-Born (25 km), and then from Parentis-en-Born to Mimizan-Plage (31 km).
